What do the
icons by each character name mean?
The one on the
right is an "Online Meter" - to show you at a glance how
long it has been since a guildmember has been online. If the block
is black, that means they haven't logged on that character in over
a month (they still may have logged in with other characters).
The one on the
left simply is a graphic representation of that character's class.
Red icons are "casters", blue icons are "healers",
gray icons are "rogues", and black icons are "tanks".
The graphics themselves represent the given class and are purely
for "flavor".
Can we display
our own guild rank titles instead of just the numbers displayed?
No, since we
don't make any attempt to "police" what those titles are,
and some of them are probably fairly interesting.
How can I
add our guild's website and email contact address to these pages?
To add your guild page, within DAOC type /gc webpage your.webpage.com
To add your email contact adress, within DAOC type /gc email guildmaster@youremail.com
You must be a guildmaster (rank level 0) to use these commands.
Wow, there's
a lot of people I had no idea were still in my guild! Is there any
way to remove them without them being logged in?
Yes, if you are a guildmaster (rank 0) you can type /gc autoremove membername and that person will be removed from your guild (ie /gc autoremove Johnathan). You cannot remove guildmasters (rank 0) with this command, however.
Do you
offer XML versions of these pages?
Yes! See here for more information.
Is there
any way to make my information "private"? I don't want
people to know this stuff!
You can use the /webdisplay command in-game to toggle the display settings of the guild pages. Type /webdisplay nopoints to turn off your realm points display or /webdisplay trades to turn off tradeskill displays.
We are working on other
anonymous flags and they will be announced when implemented
How often
are these pages updated?
Currently, the
character data is refreshed approximately three times a week.
Can I use
this data for our own guild website?
Yes!
