The dragon continues to fly overhead, terrorizing our small village with her sporadic schedule. Sometimes she is peaceful and only the sound of her great wings can be heard, while other times she is violent, breathing her frost over the rooftops with such a terrifying chill that the villagers go into a panic and it takes all of us here to calm them and send them safely home again.
It is a dark day here, for we have lost two of our most revered villagers. The dwarves, Skipta and Thaelen, are gone. We know they left willingly, though I believe they must have been harassed by an unknown traveler who came to the village yesterday. This traveler was reported to us by several of the villagers but could not be found when searched for.

There was an incident between our own Elia and Sir Gregory, and a dark stranger who arrived recently in town. My men were only made aware of this incident as the couple began packing their things to leave. Details were unclear, but they have been driven away and the stranger is nowhere to be found. We cannot report where they have gone, for they would not say. It is a shame to have lost them from our village, especially now, when we may have needed them most.
I had the pleasure this evening of sharing a mug with some adventurers passing through. These men told me of their recent experience in the newfound Labyrinth, where they encountered undead drakoran. They showed me strange writings that they’d found on the beast. I could not make it out, but I suggested they bring the writing to the scholars of the Academy. I wonder whether the writings have any significance, considering recent events.

Just this eve, there was a disruption in our usually quiet village. Unfortunately, there was no sign of an intruder, but our dear friends, the elves Lirazal and Falorn, were quite shaken. They described a shadowy, mysterious intruder in their home. Despite my reassurances that every step would be taken to protect them, the couple has chosen to leave Ardee. They will not say where they plan to go. It is a sad day for all of us here, for we will miss their strength and wisdom in these strange times.
Some of my men have reported rumors of murmurings from various adventurers who come to rest their weary feet in our tavern. Though these reports are vague, mention that within Sheeroe Hills, the glimmers have started behaving strangely. Some have said that they appear to be building something, though as I said, there are very few details as to what.
