Our customer service people asked me to clarify a few things about passwords.
First, if you contact us and claim that your account was hacked, we may request your password from you as part of attempting to verify your information. In that scenario, YOU called US, so it's a pretty safe bet you're talking to a Mythic employee. And secondly, PayByCash cannot post your payments without your password. (/blush - I didn't know about the latter! Sorry!) Since without security, they would not have a business, you should be safe there as well.
Several people wrote to express concern about password access here at Mythic, so I had best clarify - I, Sanya, sitting at my workstation, do not have access to the password database. Nor do most people here. When I need a password, I take the account name to one of a very small number of people with access to the database. If I can convince that person that my purpose is legit, he will look up the password for me.
But please, gang, PLEASE don't be too trusting on the internet. Firewalls and encryption are all well and good, but your own discretion is your best weapon.
