This weekend is the 4th of July holiday for our U.S. players and we've decided to implement some bonuses for everyone to celebrate!
Edit on July 1st: The Camelot Team would like to wish our Canadian players a Happy Canada Day! We hope you will also enjoy the bonuses this week.
Edit on July 2nd: There was an issue that caused some of the bonuses to stop functioning. This has now been fixed. Because of this, we will be extending the bonuses through next Wednesday. In addition, some of the bonuses for Killibury and Bossiney were incorrectly listed. All changes appear below in red.
The following Zone Bonuses are now live:

Today we have important news to share with the community. EA is restructuring its RPG and MMO games development into a new group that includes both Mythic and BioWare. This newly formed team will be led by Ray Muzyka, co-founder and General Manager of BioWare. With this change, Ray becomes Group General Manager of the new RPG/MMO studio group. BioWare's other co-founder, Greg Zeschuk will become Group Creative Officer for the new RPG/MMO studio group. Rob Denton will step up as General Manager of Mythic and report to Ray. BioWare's studios remain unchanged and continue to report to Ray.

Greetings brave adventurer. With all the buzz lately, the squire normally tending to these matters is a bit distracted. He bid me deliver these notes from the gathering of the Knights.
"Traveler, below you will find some of the latest bit of information regarding the recent turn of events. The Knights have been communing with a high Sylvan. She has spoken of a great exodus, a pilgrimage almost as it were to a new land. Many of the brave souls who fight for their realms have heard whisper of such goings on. Many questions have been raised, with rumor running rampant. During my nightly recourse, I have listen to many a conversation or two or three. With these ideas in mind, I listened into the Knights while they communed with the Sylvan and have managed to pass these scraps along to you. I assure you, these notes will not be the last of their kind. Oh yes, there are plenty of questions to go around. Well, that is if someone were to know where to drop their questions off.

A few small adjustments:
- Players may now speak with the General at their border keep to learn the last reported location of the Spirit of Battle.
- (Gaheris Only) If the Spirit of Battle is present the monstrous ruler of the keep will now drop bonus seals when killed. This is in addition to the 50% experience bonus that is already given.

After digging and digging, our web engineer tracked down the problem that was keeping certain statistics on the Herald from updating. Tomorrow, the Herald will begin updating the daily numbers for characters. The updated weekly numbers for characters and guilds will start showing up next week. We appreciate your patience while we tracked this down and apologize for the inconvenience.

Welcome back, chum. Glad to see you couldn't stay away.
You've got good timing, too. This just so happens to be the last copy we were able to make. Supplies have been a little tight lately, given that the local constabulary's been nosing around our business.
Given their... persistence.... we might be around a little less often, but since spreading the word's our business, we'll be back at least every couple of weeks, depending on how things go and how quickly my man on the inside can get us his information.
I think I hear someone coming, so you just take this one. Consider it a gift. I'd best be leaving. If you'd like to donate to the cause, I'm sure you know where the donation box is by now...

Hey All,
I wanted to let everyone know that Dark Age of Camelot is switching management, and Chris Rabideau will be taking over as Producer of the project once again. Don't worry, I'm not going too far. I've simply been asked to assist in other areas of the studio. When I was informed of the reassignment last week, I made it clear that we needed to keep up the honest communication with you, the player community. To that end, I plan to continue communicating with you personally via the Herald, VN, and Facebook as I have been over these past few months, and Chris will be doing the same. I will also continue helping Chris maintain the momentum we have built and work towards applying a grassroots approach to bringing DAoC what it needs.
I also wanted to confirm that both Chris and I have been actively working over the past couple of months toward getting the Origins rule set back on the books. As of right now, work on it is tentatively scheduled to pick back up in the next few weeks. As I have always said, though, running on a small staff makes our development priorities unpredictable, and as such, this plan could change.

There is a new entry in the Dev Diaries that provides information about the plans for character transfers.

- Fixed an issue preventing Druids from receiving their Elder Nature Pets at the correct levels of Nature Affinity Specialization.
