Surprise the enemy with the small
nature of your spriggarn!

Spriggarns Unite!

From the depths of the darkest caves, an ancient, somewhat generic evil rises. Tiny, knobby creatures are moving in the mist. It is a new age in Camelot, with new enemies and new allies (albeit ones that look somewhat similar). It is... the rise of the Spriggarn.

New Features:

1. New player races for each realm (These new races will be unique and rather small):
Albion: Red Spriggarn
Hibernia: Leafy Spriggarn
Midgard: Blue Spriggarn
2. New player classes for each realm:
Albion: Ninja

These stealthy users of shuriken and sai stealthily walk along the rooftops, assassinating the enemies of King Constantine. Ninjas are a Rogue-based class who have access to Meditation, Tea Ceremony, and the new Reflections upon a Twig skill, which causes them to become at one with the universe for additional damage. Note that unique among Camelot's classes, Ninjas can ONLY attack members of their own realm (which should assist in them not being overpowered in Realm vs. Realm combat).

Midgard: Brewer

One of the hidden strengths of Midgard's armies, the Brewer keeps the front lines of the Norse well supplied with mead. High level brewers can create potent concoctions that, while not having any noticeable effect on the actual battle, will cause their consumers to not particularly care about their own personal safety. Note: We strongly recommend that brewers level responsibly.

Hibernia: Scriveners

The pen is, in fact, mightier than the sword. Hibernian Scriveners can, from range, write wickedly pointed barbs mocking their enemies, and then using ground targeted AE spells deploy their works for all to see.

Fight enemies at a new perspective...
from the ground!
3. New crafting system:
Our new crafting engine for DAOC:ROTS is the most impeccable simulation of medieval crafting ever seen in a computer role playing game. Players will need to first spend several years as an "apprentice" under an NPC Master of the Art, where they spend their days running errands through the city, purchasing random amounts of flax and being occasionally beaten. After they reach "adulthood", the "apprentice" can become a "journeyman craftsperson", where they can then journey from city to city via longship or trusty pony, attempting to eke out a living while taxation and banditry constantly threatens them with extinction. Once the craftsperson marries and has children (note: other players will need to cooperate with the crafter to progress beyond this stage) they can then settle down, open up a small shop, and spend their days working over a hot forge while ordering apprentices to fetch flax. Eventually, the craftsperson will grow old and die, leaving their shop to other players using our revolutionary Probate System. Truly, you will be immersed in the lore and daily strife that was the medieval craftsperson's life!

Soon, red spriggarn ninjas will take their place in the Halls of Heroes, and Camelot will never be the same. What spriggarn will YOU be?
