Class Team Lead Position

The primary goal of the class team leads is to understand and articulate the challenges and issues facing their class. Secondary goals are to perform testing and otherwise collect data to help determine balance issues or bugs with the class. Class TLs are required to write class reports at intervals determined by the TL coordinator. Class TLs are encouraged to interact with the player base on various DAOC community forums, but are not required.

Specialty Server Team Lead Position

The primary goal of the Specialty Server Team Leads is understand and articulate the challenges and issues facing players on the specialty servers. These servers include the Bossiney Cluster (Classic), Mordred (PvP), Gaheris (PvE), and the Tintagel Cluster (role playing). The focus of this role is to identify sources of frustration for players on these servers, and to help the dev team come up with possible solutions that require very little or no server-specific changes. The Specialy Server Team Leads should also act as advocates for players on their servers to ensure that any proposed changes to the game that may hinder their game-play or further diminish the immersion factor of DAOC are brought to the attention of the dev team. (for example, the "pelvic-thrust" /taunt emote which turned out to be offensive to many Role Players) The Specialty Server Team Leads are required to write reports at intervals determined by the TL coordinator. The TL is encouraged to interact with the player base on various DAOC community forums.
